In July 2022, Kun Cable Group officially signed a contract with the Jiuquan Economic and Technological Development Zone to invest 510 million yuan in the construction of the Jiuquan Green Energy Technology Equipment Production and Manufacturing Base. This project is the milestone of Kunming Cable Group in its layout of the northwest market. The project is planned to produce 50000 meters of wind power and photovoltaic supporting wires and cables annually, as well as 1.4GW of solar cell modules, with a comprehensive annual output value of 3.5 billion yuan. The sales scope covers a wide range of northwest regions such as Gansu, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, etc.
